We are a fundamental, Baptist Church, located in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada and we have been sent out from Red Deer Bible Baptist Church, from Red Deer, Alberta.
As a ministry, we seek to share the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to "...earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 1:3).
At Sylvan Lake Baptist Church, you'll find a fellowship where individuals and families can enjoy a friendly atmosphere and Bible-centered teaching.
We also look to Jesus Christ as being the sole basis for hope, not only in this life but for all eternity.
At Sylvan Lake Baptist Church, we believe that God's Word provides the only solid foundation on which to build our lives, and we believe that God has a purpose for every life that starts with one coming to know and trust in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour.
We want to encourage and build up individuals as they seek to know and follow The Lord Jesus Christ.
Also, we want to build strong couples. A home is only as strong as the relationship between the husband and wife, so therefore we desire to encourage strong, loving relationships built after the pattern found within God's Word.
We want also help young people by teaching them scriptural principles that will guide them in the years ahead.
